Volunteer for History!
Whether you are a people person, a researcher, a writer, artist, fund raiser, skilled organizer or eager learner, we have a rewarding role for you. Volunteers provide very important energy and skills to our programs and activities.

Volunteers Michelle, Benjamin and Yukon Dan demonstrate how to pan for gold during Yukon Days, 2008.
Are you passionate about old black and white pictures? Family events and stories? Are your skills more in line with today"s technology? You can contribute your skills to identifying records of our past or to record events today.
Profiles of Historic Places
Help us "tell the story" of our older buildings and historic sites. Walk through your neighbourhood, locate current address of old buildings, talk to tenants, research at the archives, enter information into our new Past Perfect database.
Heritage Week Planning Group
The third week in February is national Heritage Week. Volunteers organize activities which highlight our history for local citizens. Get involved with the annual Pioneer Tea, put on a workshop, coordinate publicity, and meet a great bunch of people!
Murals Sub-Committee
Join this dynamic group to help beautify our community while adding a historic flavour to exterior walls, buildings, and walkways. Whether you have an artistic flair, research skills, or fundraising expertise, there is a way for you to get involved.
